Hello and welcome to SaveAndruw.com! This is a web site created to address the stagnant payroll of the Atlanta Braves, and more importantly how its about to claim another casualty in Andruw Jones. Over the past few seasons, we have seen Tom Glavine pick the Mets over the Braves (twice), Greg Maddux leave, Millwood leave because we couldn’t afford both he and Maddux, Javy Lopez, J.D. Drew, Rafael Furcal, and other favorites take larger offers from elsewhere, and other transactions that have been financially-motivated and increasingly painful for fans to endure. It has to stop. We shouldn't have to watch maybe the most talented player to ever put on a Braves uniform exit for the Red Sox or Yankees because he was not offered a fair contract.
